Homes are a passion. This is where you go at the end of the day, its where you raise your family, where you invite others to share your life. It should express who you are: relaxed, elegant, colorful, minimalist, eclectic. I work closely with you developing a space that meets not only your functional needs, budget, schedule, etc. but also your dreams. A well designed space should “evoke an emotional response”. My wish for you is that upon entering a room we designed together you feel welcomed and loved. I invite you to explore some homes of clients that have become friends.
Listening… Working for the well-known architectural firm, HOK, we start projects listening to the client’s needs – this is uncovered through programming and Visioning workshops. This is the foundation for the bespoke design we deliver to every client. Enclosed are a few of my favorite projects that I wanted to share, from creative media companies to smart financial institutions. With every client, we set the project goals including Brand, functionality, flexibility, sustainability and employee engagement.
I invite you to flip thru a family album of sorts, one presented under the moniker “pL-D” that showcases some of the industrial design we’ve created over the years.
The family shots represent a broad spectrum of product types – seating, case goods, collaborative, all of which were produced by a diverse group of manufactures, “our clients”, for their clients. These include corporate, entertainment, hospitality, healthcare … anywhere benefits-based design supports their needs.
Pam is a NCIDQ certified interior designer with a degree in Interior/Environmental Design. Her experience in residential, commercial, and product design has been accrued over the past 30 years and has garnered her several national awards.
In 2004 she received the highest honor the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) can award, making her a Fellow. This was followed in 2014 by becoming a Circle of Excellence award winner.
Pam and her team work hard to ensure that the process, as well as your space, is enjoyable and a tailored fit that meets your needs. Pam works closely with Environmental Psychologists researching how people respond to space, and therefore what design / color most meets the design intent.
Organization is key to the success of any project. Pam is proactive in communication and budget control to help ensure a seamless superior project. The team can design and oversee the entire design process – we not only answer your questions, but we answer the ones you don’t know to ask.
Pam focuses on designing spaces that (as she puts it) “evoke an emotional response”. Design can indeed be magical.
We specialize in design from inception and strategy through the design process to the realization of the completed project. Our services can include full design scope including furniture, to updating a specific room with existing architecture. Our design enthuse is to make every space special for the people that live there.
